About Us
Berg Reinvigorations sells responsibly harvested and locally grown (Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas and Oklahoma) domestic hardwoods and softwoods. We mill it in house, kiln dry it in house with computer aided and natural gas fired dehumidification and vacuum kilns that minimize warping, cracking, checking of the wood and also kills any biological matter living within the wood itself. We also offer millwork services ranging from simple planing to wide belt sanding and custom moulding/millwork services all the way to custom Timber Frame construction and joinery.
We fairly and responsibly acquire our materials from local loggers small and large. From the small truck farm logger to the commercial feller buncher and delimber logger company.
We believe in fair pricing and customer satisfaction. As fellow woodworkers, we understand the frustration of purchasing material that is overpriced or out-of-grade specified.
Our Quality
All of our kiln dried materials are guaranteed at 12% or less average moisture content, up to 8/4 stock thickness. Our 10/4 and thicker stock is S-Dry listed only and guaranteed at 18% average or less (by average board density/weight reading compared to NHLA rule book 2015 for said species in listing).
Most of our material averages 6-9% moisture content upon leaving the kiln. Our pricing is typically lower than most competitors due to the fact that we cut out the middle contractors, suppliers, etc. and handle the material from tree felling (cutting/harvesting) to planing and shipping in house.
Due to the natural variations, we cannot guarantee the color or grain figuring of each order, but we are confident our material will exceed your expectations.
